People who have an interest using graphics to communicate. This will develop your skill in manually and technologically produced graphics.

Level 02.A - A few benchmarks achieved at L3 or better in Technologies
Tell me some basic information about the course
In 3a you will develop your skills in 2D Graphic Communication, develop 2D graphic spatial awareness and learning to creative 2D graphic. You will also develop 3D graphic spatial awareness and learn to develop creative and 3D and pictorial graphic.
This course is designed to increase your awareness of how graphics are used, and to learn about the technology used to create them. You will create 2D, 3D and pictorial graphics with visual impact or that transmits information, digitally and on paper.
What Skills will I develop?
You will develop your manual graphic, computer aided graphics, numeracy, communication and literacy based skills.
How will I be assessed?
The course assessment has two components totalling 120 marks: Component 1: question paper – worth 90 marks
Component 2: assignment – worth 50 marks. For the assignment, you will be asked to create a set of preliminary, production and promotional graphics in answer to a brief and produce evidence of how you planned and evaluated your work.
