In S2 October tracking, having secured:

Level 02.A - A few benchmarks achieved at L3 or better in English

Tell me some basic information about the course

The course includes units based on Needs & Wants, Marketing, Finance, how a business adapts to change - External Environment and Human Resource Management. This is project based and aims to equip pupils with skills and knowledge of support them at N5.

The course continues by building key skills with practical, hands-on use of ICT to gather, analyse and communicate business information, and communicate effectively in a business context.  This includes understanding money, interpreting data, and using tables, charts and other graphical displays. Topics include understanding business, managing people, finance, marketing and operations.

What Skills will I develop?

Working with others (collaboration), communication, organising, presenting, critical thinking, research, ICT and administrative skills

How will I be assessed?

In S3, Assessment will be ongoing. This will include written, oral and open-book assessment.

Current S4  pupils are assessed by an SQA exam and an assignment. Your teachers can update you on the details of these assessments in S4.
