Frequently Asked Questions around our Mobile Phone policy. (under development June 2026)

A:Yes, they can still take them to school. They will just be required to be placed in storage boxes during lessons.

A:In plastic storage boxes with foam inserts to seperate them. The boxes will then be kept in a locked cupbard during the lesson.
Q:Can my child still use their phone in-between classes and for social times?
A:Yes, they will have their phones returned after each lesson.
Q:Will phones need to go into boxes for registration too?
A:Yes, this will be the expectation during registration too.
Q:Will phones be used at all in the classroom?
A:Phones may be used as part of a lesson, or for reward time (or similar), but only when the teacher makes the class a ‘Green Zone’.
Q:What happens if my child does not put their phone in the storage box?
A:A member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT) will be alerted, and the phone will be confiscated from them for the day.
